About the Role

We are looking for an experienced QA Lead to provide technical leadership and drive the quality strategy for our core product platform across web and mobile. This is a hands-on role that combines manual exploratory testing, advanced automation architecture, AI innovation, and team leadership.

You will lead a cross-functional hybrid team of QA engineers, work closely with Product and Engineering stakeholders to shape testing strategies, and play a key role in identifying and implementing Agentic AI testing solutions that accelerate release cycles. The role requires someone who can balance strategic quality planning with hands-on automation development, while driving engineering excellence, delivery pace, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software quality assurance, experience leading testing teams, and a proven ability to design and deliver scalable web, mobile, and performance automation frameworks in complex Agile environments.

Responsibilities

Lead a cross-functional QA team, driving the testing strategy, delivery quality, and automation framework evolution

Take ownership of the design, development, and maintenance of robust end-to-end automation test suites for web and mobile platforms

Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to shape requirements, implement BDD (Cucumber), and align quality metrics with business objectives

Evaluate, prototype, and implement Agentic AI-powered testing capabilities, including self-healing locators and autonomous test generation

Provide technical leadership through code reviews, test architecture discussions, and enforcing QA best practices

Assess system limits and guarantee platform reliability by designing and executing load tests (k6, JMeter, or Gatling)

Champion automated testing, "Shift-Left" mentalities, and engineering standards across the development lifecycle

Integrate automated web, mobile, and performance suites into CI/CD pipelines to block broken code from reaching production

Manage testing ecosystems and traceability utilizing tools like TestRail, Xray, and BrowserStack

Mentor and support manual and automation engineers, helping to develop technical capability across the team

Communicate quality metrics, defect trends, and release risks effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Facilitate defect triage sessions and act as the ultimate gatekeeper for Go/No-Go release decisions

Requirements

5+ years of professional software quality assurance experience

Proven experience as a QA Lead managing hybrid (manual and automation) testing teams

Demonstrated ability to drive delivery, improve testing practices, and move products forward

Experience working closely with Product teams, influencing acceptance criteria and agile sprint planning

Hands-on experience architecting automation frameworks from scratch using modern tools like Playwright, Cypress.io, or WebdriverIO

Experience setting up native and cross-platform mobile testing frameworks using Appium or Maestro

Strong understanding of modern software architecture, test design patterns, and BDD methodologies

Experience building scalable test infrastructures and utilizing cloud execution platforms like BrowserStack

Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and integrating test suites into CI workflows

Experience conducting load and performance testing

Strong commitment to code quality, maintainability, and operational excellence within automation repositories

Confident in technical decision-making, test architecture discussions, and PR code reviews

Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Deep experience administering test management tools like TestRail or Xray integrated natively with Jira

Highly proficient in coding with JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python

Nice to Have

Experience testing complex RESTful or GraphQL APIs

Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes for isolated test environments

Knowledge of fundamental security testing and OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities

ISTQB Certifications (CTAL-TAE or CTAL-TM)

Agile/Scrum or Cloud infrastructure certifications (AWS, Azure)

Experience improving engineering culture, processes, and software delivery standards

Involvement in hiring, onboarding, or building engineering teams

Passion for emerging AI technologies and their practical application in software testing
